At Jurassic Health Club, we seek to create and nurture a community of like-minded individuals that are relentless in the pursuit of personal development. What we know is that consistency, dedication, and attention to detail will lead to great things in and out of the gym. We are dedicated to this process and to seek out mental and physical challenges in the gym so that we can apply these lessons to all aspects of our lives.
At the end of the day, we could all do better. Whether it is at our jobs, in our relationships, or anything else we do. Though our best will change from day to day, ultimately our routines and habits trend towards complacency and encourage the easy way out. More often than not this leads to less than satisfactory results.
It is the human condition that inspires us.
The nucleus of our community is an understanding that through hard work, guidance, trust, accountability, and love we can break free of our self-imposed limitations and achieve extraordinary results.

"Training with Jake has totally changed the way I think about fitness. Jake is all about longevity- teaching people how to move with care and progress with intention to ensure your body’s longevity. But that’s not to say he won’t kick your ass! As a woman I often stayed away from the weight room - due to a fear of “bulking up” and also a lack of knowledge. Jake helped give me the confidence to start lifting loaded barbells-I not only feel like a bad ass but I’m now stronger than I was in my 20s. Best part- thanks to his thoughtful programming, in the 1 yr + I’ve been training with him, I’ve never gotten injured.”

Jurassic is the best workout 10/10 every-time I attend a class. This is what truly changed the game for me working out- I used to be nervous to lift at the gym alone but the education that I gained through the very thoughtful and professional training atmosphere at Jurassic has transformed my mindset; not to mention my fitness journey! I had a really hard time kicking off postpartum weight gain and going to Jurassic classes consistently truly helped me get so strong again! I can’t speak more highly of the level of instruction and how the classes are really catered towards your individual skill level. Each instructor really knows their stuff not to mention it’s always the most fun workout! Can’t speak highly enough of Jurassic Health Club.

Some of the best strength training I have ever experienced - we are so lucky to have this facility on Kauai! Group classes are very approachable and Jake sets you up in a very clear and safe way so that you can focus and lock into the intensity of the workout without distraction. When I train consistently with Jake I notice overall positive shifts in my surfing and yoga practice. It just feels really good and it’s awesome to see and feel hard work paying off!
